Terrace Visitor Info Centre
Whether you are traveling on business or pleasure, the Visitor Information Councilors can help you find that perfect spot to stay. They have information on activities and places of interest, along with highway maps, forest maps and souvenirs. Drop in and say hello, the Terrace Visitor Info Centre is located on Highway 16 just past Ferry Island Campground in a cozy log building.

Getting to the Mountain
A&W FAMILY SKI BUS
Catch the "A&W Family Ski Bus" every Saturday, Sunday & NID Day. The A&W Family Ski Bus will be available DAILY from March 4 to 14 during spring break. The Bus will leave from the Keith Ave A&W at 8am. A&W Family Ski Bus will leave Shames Mountain at 4pm. It takes approximately 45 minutes to travel by bus. The cost will be $5 each way. Tickets can be purchased at the A&W Family Ski Bus. It will be a "First Come, First on the Bus" Basis. There will only be 43 seats available, each way. Please bring ID with you, as this will be the only way you will get on the A&W Family Ski Bus. There will be a Shames Mountain Staff member riding the A&W Family Ski Bus each time. The Bus and Driver are being provided by Skeena Valley Expeditions.
RULE FOR RIDING THE A&W FAMILY SKI BUS:
- No Vandalizing of the Bus inside or out.
- No Drinking of Alchoholic Beverages on the Bus.
- No Drugs of any type on the Bus.
- No Verbal or Physical Abuse towards other passengers or Driver.
- Shames Mountain and/or Skeena Valley Expeditions has the right to refuse a rider on the bus, due to misconduct.
